Exciting Changes on the Horizon

Can you believe it? We have joined the 21st century and decided to write our very first blog. We thought it was time we shared some additional information on who we are, where we started, what we believe in, and some of the exciting changes we have made.

Atrix is the leading U.S. manufacturer of portable, industrial vacuums with ultrafine filtration. We are a family owned business that started in 1981 and we go to market in over 40 countries worldwide through a network of industrial and commercial distributors. We manufacture the finest filtration, with patented HEPA and ULPA filters, as well as vacuums, accessories, and ESD-safe products used in specialty applications in a variety of markets including: industrial, electronics, hazardous particulate, pest control, specialty medical and janitorial.

We take pride in the fact that our tenure of employees averages over 15 years. We always answer our own phones with exceptional service to help solve your problems. It’s that dedication to service that has kept us working with our clients like Xerox, IBM, Hewlett Packard, Unisys, Burroughs, Canon and Ricoh for over 30 years.

Our core values include building open, honest relationships with our customers and vendors and treating everyone with respect. These values are reflected in all our products and services. We work closely with all of our customers to find out exactly what their needs are and which of our products would best serve their needs.

As we have moved from a tool distributor to primarily manufacturing portable industrial vacuums with ultrafine filtration, we knew we needed to evaluate our position as a company.  We have listened to our customers’ needs and wants to provide everyone with optimal service and products at the best value.

This past year, we hired an external research company who conducted an extensive research study on our overall business, company name, brand, customer service and product quality. Through this research we have gained perspective from our valued partners and evaluated our findings to improve our company. Through this research we found that what we believe in most, which is our products, and providing excellent customer service is something we do well, however, it was no surprise to us that we needed to update our brand… so that’s exactly what we did!

We took our research findings and put them to great use. Not only did we update our logo and appearance, but we have now updated our content, imagery, and the resources we offer to our customers. We believe our brand refresh and new website will provide improved user experience. Here are some of the exciting changes:

Although many changes have been made, some things will always remain the same for Atrix, meaning our core values, personal and prompt customer service, and delivering quality products at the best value.
